Conditioned the Reinstatement of Suspended Workers of Vahed Company by a Commitment Letter

Labor Service: Vahed Company managers still prevent workers who received the reinstatement order from the dispute resolution boards of the Tehran Labor Department returning to their job.

Saied Torabian, a suspended worker of Vahed Company, said, “Thirteen of fifty-three workers who were suspended from services, during the protest and trade’s actions in winter 2005, received their reinstatement orders from the dispute resolution boards of Tehran Labor Department.” He added,” Despite of the fact that these workers have been known guiltlessness by the dispute resolution boards, and employer, according to labor law, should return them to their previous jobs and positions, but the reinstatement of the workers is conditioned to sign a commitment letter, in contrary to law, by the company managers and guards.”
